The 2008 Lake Region Pioneer Threshing Show will be featuring: Oliver and Cockshutt lines of Machinery & Equipment.

Fifty five years ago some neighbors wanted to thresh the old way and now just look at what happened as time passed!!

Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen have a lot of fun things for your entire family to see & do.

  • Take a free ride on the train pulled by a World War I French locomotive.
  • See the largest operational Wheelock stationary steam engine in the USA; it weighs 110 tons!
  • The blacksmith shop is pouring castings with many old tools in operation.
  • Many model gas & hot air engines on display.
  • See the antique woodshop using foot and lines-shaft power to make items the “Old-Fashioned” way.
  • Free entertainment on stage: Thurs., Fri., Sat. evenings plus during the day.
  • There are many displays for the homemaker to reminisce about.
  • Many steam traction engines and large gas/oil engines will be operating in addition to 100’s more tractor and machinery displays.
  • Bring your camera for Parades each day for antique cars & trucks and tractors.
  • See the new “Old Fashioned” Skelly gas station with drive-thru service.
  • Watch the “Blue Ox” and “Little Babe” pulling sleds get tugged all over the track.
  • Threshing each day plus sawmill, shingle mill and plowing demonstrations are great to see.
  • Take a look at the 4-sided wood planer in action.
  • Sunday morning church services.
  • There is a large flea market for the “shopper” in all of us.
  • Are you hungry for a Threshermen’s breakfast or dinner?? Lots of food for all.
  • See the new memorial building with special exibits.
