SCHEDULE - Weather Permitting (changes possible)
Gates Open at 6:30 a.m.
Start the day with breakfast served at the Sawmill Cafe.

Check out over 100 tractors on display and watch as many steam engines are fired up with wood, coal, straw, gas & oil to tackle work for the day.
See threshing machines being set up for the day's harvest.
Watch a huge crane at the sawmill as it sets logs for sawing and follow the rough sawn lumber to the planer and finally to the woodworking shop where a variety of items are in the making.

The ladies are busy heating water for washing clothes and heating up the sad iron on the wood stove. The pioneer homes are bustling with activity: kneading bread to bake, canning food,  carding then spinning wool, knitting, crocheting, quilting, braiding and weaving rugs as they prepare not only for threshing, but also the coming winter.

The Blacksmith Shop is busy with sharpening plow shares and maintaining equipment and the Print Shop is getting ready to run the weekly news using a lynotype machine.  School is iready for students at the one-room school and LaVern's General Store is open for business.

The museums contain numerous displays including the Borg Drug Store, Milinary Shop, Barber Shop, and dozens of others. There is a large farm toy display at the Wheelock Builidng where you will see a stationary steam engine weighing over 110 tons being fired up.

Although most men are busy threshing, their minds seem to be set on getting done so they can go duck hunting.  You'll find a collection of special gear at the Duck Hunting Heritage Building (built in 2011) including a large display of old shot guns.

About 9 a.m. the WW II French Locomotive begins its local run giving free rides throughout the day.

On Saturday only, a parade starts at 11 a.m. on the main streets of Dalton.  Later in the afternoon is a Tractor Pull and Garden Tractor Pull.  The children will have an opportunity to participate in the "Peddle Pull" on Sunday after church services.

Friday and Saturday at 1:30 pm, and Sunday at 1:00 pm is the "Parade of Giants" on the streets of the Lake Region Threshermen's Pioneer Village.

On Sunday at 4 p.m. are the raffle drawings - winners need not be present to win.
